| MBT FAQs Q: Can I buy MBTs online, through mail order or over the telephone? A: No,it is against MBT UK policy to sell to any customer through these methods. This is because it is very important that you are fitted correctly and that are shown how to stand and walk properly in MBTs in order to get the full benefits from the technology in the sole. Anyone doing so is doing so without MBTs authorisation, and products purchased from these suppliers will not be guaranteed by MBT. Q: What will happen when I buy a pair of MBTs? A: You will be fitted with the correct size, which should be snug on the instep, tight on the heel and comfortable on the toe. You will then be shown how to walk and stand correctly in them so that you can get the full benefits from the MBT technology. The whole process takes at least 10 minutes. Q: What do I get with a pair of MBTs? A: Each pair comes with an inbox leaflet and care instructions Q: Why is the fitting so important? I’ve always been able to buy shoes that fit before! A: In order for you to get the full benefits from your MBTs, you need to have the correct size; they must be snug on the instep, tight on the heel and comfortable on the toe. Also, you will see that the sizing of MBTs is different from regular shoes so the size you usually wear in an ordinary pair of shoes isn't necessarily what you need in MBTs to get the correct fitting as described above. If you are at all unsure of the fitting of your MBTs please return them to your stockist or contact Customer Service 020 7684 4633/customer-service@swissmasai.co.uk. Q: My friend was fitted using the wooden measuring board, but I wasn't. Does this mean that I don't have the right size? A: No, the wooden measuring board is simply to be used as a guide by the assistant so that they can get an initial pair for you to try. They will then check the fitting of that pair and take you up or down a size if necessary to get the perfect fit. All this means is that the stockist you purchased your pair from has used another type of guide, possibly a size conversion chart. Therefore there is no reason to worry about the sizing unless you are experiencing discomfort, in which case you should visit your stockist and ask them to check the fitting. Q: The shop I visited had slightly different prices to the ones on your website. Why is this? A: The prices you see on our website and literature are Recommended Retail Prices (RRP), which means they are a guide price for our stockists. You will find that the vast majority of stockists do sell at our RRP |
